Secure Storage and Repairs

Your jewelry is safely stored under 24/7 surveillance and is repaired in-house by our skilled artisans, leveraging 45+ years of combined experience.

Rigorous Quality Assurance

Two of our experienced team members meticulously inspect your repaired piece to ensure it meets our high-quality standards. Once the repair is complete, you will be notified and can pick up your restored jewelry.

How can I get my jewelry cleaned?

We provide FREE cleaning and inspections at J. F. Kruse Jewelers for ALL jewelry, regardless of where it was purchased. Our goldsmiths are always happy to clean your jewelry, inspect the integrity of the metal, and check each diamond or gemstone for tightness and security. You don’t need an appointment to have your jewelry cleaned, and most jewelry can be cleaned and inspected while you wait.

We also offer a full “spa” treatment for your jewelry, which is complimentary on all jewelry purchased at J. F. Kruse. In addition to a full cleaning and thorough inspection, we hand-polish the precious metal to bring out its brilliant shine, as well as provide rhodium-plating on all white gold jewelry. No appointment is needed, and this process takes about 24-48 hours. Your jewelry looks like new again when you pick it up, and you have the peace of mind knowing that your diamonds and gemstones are secure and sparkly.   We recommend having your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected every 6 months. Especially if you wear your jewelry every day, it’s important to have your pieces inspected regularly. We are here to be of service to you and will work hard to keep the quality, integrity, and beauty of your jewelry in tact.

How long will it take to repair my jewelry?

Typically, it takes about two weeks based on the volume of repairs at the time. Some minor repairs may be completed in a shorter amount of time, while others may take longer. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will give you an estimated timeframe and contact you as soon as your piece is ready.

Where does my jewelry go after I drop it off?

Nearly all of our repair and service work is done in house. When our expert goldsmiths aren’t working on your jewelry, all pieces go into a locked safe so you can be assured that your jewelry is safe and secure.

How much do repairs cost?

Prices are based on the intricacy of the repair, as well as the type of precious metal and the type, number and size of the diamonds or gemstones in the piece. To receive the most accurate estimate of cost, one of our staff must examine your jewelry in person.

What if my jewelry is damaged during the repair process?

J.F. Kruse Jewelers accepts full liability of your jewelry during the repair process. Every precaution is taken to ensure that your jewelry repair is completed perfectly by our expert goldsmiths and diamond setters. However, jewelry repair is done by hand, so there is always a risk. If an issue arises, we will contact you immediately and take measures to remedy the situation. Our goldsmiths may require you to sign a waiver if they see a potential issue with repairing your jewelry.

Do you offer a warranty?

All of our repair services come with a one-year warranty.
